Role Description

We are in search of a caring and devoted Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to enhance our expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to deliver outstanding patient care and a dedication to fostering the health and wellness of our patients. As a CNA at Connections That Matter, Inc., you will be an essential member of our patient care team, assisting nurses and other healthcare professionals in providing top-notch care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with essential daily activities, including bathing, dressing, eating, and restroom use.
  • Measure and document vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
  • Facilitate patient mobility, helping patients transition in and out of beds, wheelchairs, and during walks.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal care.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection-control protocols.
  • Document patient care services accurately in patient and departmental records.
Qualifications
  • Current CNA certification in the State of Maryland.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
