DispatchHealth is seeking a skilled Medical Technician to join our clinical team in the Lancaster area. As a Medical Technician, you will work directly with our Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants in our CLIA certified mobile laboratory, providing daily patient care and gaining valuable experience in mobile healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work under the supervision of licensed NP/PA providers to provide patient assessment and monitoring, vital signs, and other medical services.
  • Perform IV starts and blood draws, splint application, wound care, and other medical procedures as permitted by state law.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain point of care laboratory equipment, including EKGs.
  • Assist NP/PAs in daily functions of a mobile care delivery emergency unit, including documentation and supply management.
Requirements:
  • Medical Technician with IV Certification, including Basic Certification with CA, EMT License (hiring credential only).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • BLS, American Heart Association certification.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
