Position Overview:
This position entails the design and development of electrical vehicle systems and hardware frameworks.
The role is highly collaborative, involving a blend of remote work, hands-on activities, and potential travel.
The position will be based in our offices and will report directly to an Engineering Manager within the Hardware division.
Key Responsibilities:
Transform user stories and vehicle specifications into successful implementations, serving as the primary advocate for electrical hardware.
Evaluate and provide insights on technological alternatives while conducting comparative analyses for new designs.
Engage in both the creation of systems from the ground up and the adaptation of existing solutions.
Facilitate compatibility among devices within the system through extensive collaboration, including the documentation of requirements and verification strategies.
Utilize your expertise to proactively identify necessary actions rather than waiting for direction.
Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in electrical or systems engineering.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering and systems, ideally focusing on passive safety systems and products.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into accessible language.
Compensation Information:
Salary Range for
California Based Candidates:
$154,000 - $192,500 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
