At DEF Definitive Logic, we're seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. This is a hybrid role, splitting time working remotely and on client site.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with government teams to understand cyber security requirements for RMF framework for the ATO process.
  • Support and build all related security documents and artifacts supporting RMF and ATO.
  • Handle a wide range of security issues, including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access.
  • Analyze systems at all levels, from concept to disposal.
  • Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions.
  • Integrate new architectural features into existing infrastructures and design cyber security architectural artifacts.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for application design.
  • Use encryption technology, penetration and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies, and information technology security research.
  • Responsible for analysis, evaluation, and recommendations to promote economy, efficiency, and effectiveness in the customer's security program.
  • May lead or mentor lower-level engineers.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers.
  • May interface with external entities, including law enforcement and intelligence/government agencies.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information management or information security management.
  • The successful candidate must be able to work remotely and be able to travel occasionally as needed.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or similar role working with ServiceNow or Salesforce Applications.
  • Experience leading and delivering Agile Development projects.
  • Experience leading client briefings and review sessions, with the ability to present a polished and professional image to clients.
  • Ability to thrive in an ever-changing, technology-based consulting environment.
  • Willingness to take ownership of tasks and problems, which often extend beyond initial scope of responsibility.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
Security Clearance Requirements:
  • US citizenship, requiring a background check.
  • Ability to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
