At DEF Definitive Logic, we're seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you'll play a critical role in protecting our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with government teams to understand Cyber Security Engineer requirements for RMF framework for the ATO process
  • Support and build all related security documents and artifacts supporting RMF and ATO
  • Handle a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access
  • Analyze systems at all levels of total product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal
  • Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
  • Integrate new architectural features into existing infrastructures, design cyber security architectural artifacts, provide architectural analysis, and relate existing systems to future needs and trends
  • Conduct risk assessment and provide recommendations for application design
  • Use encryption technology, penetration and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies, and information technology security research
  • Responsible for analysis, evaluation, and recommendations designed to promote economy, efficiency, and effectiveness in the customer's security program
  • May lead or mentor lower-level engineers
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers
  • May interface with external entities including law enforcement, and intelligence/government agencies
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Management or Information Security Management
  • The successful candidate must be able to work remotely and be able to travel occasionally as needed
  • 5+ years of experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or similar role working with ServiceNow or Salesforce Applications
  • Experience leading and delivering Agile Development projects
  • Experience leading client briefings and review sessions; demonstrated ability to present a polished and professional image to clients
  • Ability to thrive in an ever-changing, technology-based consulting environment
  • Willingness to readily take ownership of tasks and problems, which often extend beyond initial scope of responsibility
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
Security Clearance Requirements:
  • US citizenship, requiring a background check
  • Ability to obtain a SECRET Clearance
