About the Role:
Bowhead is seeking a highly skilled Program Analyst to join our team supporting the Program Office for Logistics Integrated Information Systems – Marine Corps (LI2S-MC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, initiation, and oversight of projects within the program, providing input and justification for budget requirements and impacts.
- Prepare and format briefs, identifying changes in work scope and ensuring appropriate planning measures are taken to reassess and amend the scope of work requirement, budget, and timeline.
- Prepare, maintain, review, deliver, and track acquisition documentation, including agendas and presentation materials, meeting minutes, and action items.
- Gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing product functionality.
- Write, format, edit, review, and proof procedural and technical information for technical and non-technical users.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet product release dates and client deliverables.
- Maintain a library of application documentation, cataloging it for internal and/or external use.
- Publish and maintain templates for written documentation produced by others, ensuring consistency.
- Produce high-quality documentation for web-based and mobile applications.
- Publish regular Release Notes for cloud-delivered software for delivery to a broad group of internal and external stakeholders.
- Write software documentation from technical specifications, discussions with developers, and hands-on experimentation.
- Contribute to documentation standards, including participating in peer editing.
- Update existing documents to reflect changes to functionality.
- Edit existing developer-written content to supplement program documentation in preparation for publication.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Master's degree preferred.
- Four to ten years of professional experience.
- Experience with Navy or Marine Corps programs preferred.
- Proven ability to work on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of a given program and perform all functional duties independently.
- Ability to manage the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific task.
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, Government personnel, and other stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and the ability to lead a team or perform independently.
Security Clearance Requirements:
The successful candidate must favorably pass a Public Trust background investigation. Candidates with an In-Scope DoD security clearance are highly encouraged to apply. US Citizenship is required.
