Multimodality Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Multimodality Technologist to join our team at Henry Ford Health System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures, including CT and general X-ray scanning.
Responsibilities- Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to ensure high-quality images.
- Implement radiation protection and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Prepare, perform, and assist physicians in special and advanced procedures, including the administration of contrast media and medications.
- Help position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to ensure high-quality images.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area, and any other areas in the department.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- One or more of the following required: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
