Dialysis Nurse

Aurora's System Dialysis Department is seeking experienced nurses to join our team of nursing excellence.
About the Role:As a Registered Nurse in our Dialysis Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals undergoing hemodialysis services. Your expertise will be essential in creating a safe and supportive environment for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Implement interventions and evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient-centered care
- Anticipate and respond to changes in patient condition, status, and need for care
- Implement strategies to reduce patient risk and increase patient safety
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing
- 1 year of experience in acute care nursing
- Proficient computer skills and experience with electronic medical records systems
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take initiative and work collaboratively with others
This role requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs from the floor to waist, lift up to 20 lbs over the head, and carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.
