About the Role

As a Pediatric Anesthesia Specialist at Sunnybrook Dentistry & Braces, you will work closely with our pediatric dentists to provide high-level anesthesia care during office-based surgery days. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and comfort of our young patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized anesthesiology services within a dental practice, adapting to different clinical environments.
  • Collaborate with pediatric dentists to optimize patient cooperation through skilled anesthetic administration and airway management.
  • Focus on patients who require more than local anesthesia, such as children with dental anxiety or those with specific physical or cognitive needs.
Qualifications

We are looking for a qualified candidate with:

  • A completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency program.
  • A valid medical or dental license in good standing, along with required certifications (PALS, BLS, DEA, etc.).
  • Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia.
  • The ability to work closely with dental teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • A salary range of $180,000 - $220,000 per year, based on experience.
