Sunnybrook Dentistry & Braces, a Benevis company, is dedicated to delivering quality dental care in underserved communities. We're seeking a skilled Dental Anesthesiologist to support our Pediatric Dentist during in-office surgery days.

Job Description

As a key member of our team, you'll work with our pediatric population during Office-Based surgery days to provide high-level anesthesia care. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring exceptional dental care for children and young adults, creating positive and impactful experiences with dental healthcare.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialized anesthesiology services within a dental practice, adapting to different clinical environments alongside a Pediatric Dentist.
  • Collaborate with Pediatric Dentists to optimize patient cooperation through skilled anesthetic administration and airway management.
  • Foster a culture of advanced patient care by focusing on patients who require more than local anesthesia, such as children with dental anxiety, pediatric patients, or those with specific physical or cognitive needs.
Requirements

We expect our ideal candidate to have:

  • Educational Background: Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency.
  • Licensure and Certifications: Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing, including PALS, BLS, DEA, etc.
  • Professional Experience: Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia.
  • Collaborative Approach: Ability to work closely with dental teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
