Job Title: Physician Assistant - Orthopedic Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Impact Recruiting Solutions. As an Orthopedic Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our multi-specialty practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Interview, examine, and diagnose patients' injuries and illnesses, providing expert medical advice and treatment.
  • Diagnostic Testing: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays, MRIs, and lab results, to inform treatment decisions.
  • Medication Management: Prescribe medications and suggest lifestyle changes to promote patient well-being.
  • Surgical Assistance: Assist in surgeries, stitch wounds, set bones, and administer immunizations as needed.
  • Medical Records: Review and maintain patients' medical histories and records, documenting progress and treatment plans.
  • Insurance and Billing: Provide documentation for insurance companies, ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement.
  • Patient Education: Educate and counsel patients and their families on medical conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date on the latest treatments, innovations, advances, and trends in the medical industry, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
  • Community Outreach: Participate in outreach programs, make house calls, and visit nursing homes to treat patients and promote health education.
Requirements:
  • Active NY State License: Must have an active license to practice as a Physician Assistant in New York State.
  • Board Certification: Must be board certified in a relevant specialty, such as Orthopedic Surgery or Family Medicine.
  • Education and Training: Must have completed a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
