Radius Staffing Solutions is currently in search of a Clinical Laboratory Specialist for a full-time position focused on Blood Banking. Ideal candidates should possess ASCP certification, have prior experience in a similar role, and meet the requirements for New York State licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
Key Responsibilities of the Clinical Laboratory Specialist:
- Conduct laboratory tests as a Clinical Laboratory Specialist.
- Adhere to established laboratory protocols and procedures.
- Operate effectively in a high-volume laboratory environment.
- Demonstrate proficiency with laboratory equipment and testing methodologies, ensuring quality control and troubleshooting as necessary.
Qualifications for the Clinical Laboratory Specialist:
- ASCP or equivalent certification is mandatory.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or a related scientific field is required.
- Must be eligible for New York State licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
- A minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly wage ranging from $48.74 to $59.88.
