Salary:

Job Description:

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (APRN), you will work collaboratively with psychiatrists to provide psychiatric assessment and psychotropic medication management for children and young adults. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing treatment plans
  • Prescribing and managing psychotropic medications
  • Providing follow-up care and coordinating with other healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree or Doctorate of Nurse Practitioner (DNP) from an accredited program
  • A valid Advanced Practice RN/Nurse Practitioner license from the State of Montana and current prescriptive authority
  • At least two years of experience in psychiatry, preferably working with children and young adults
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
