Employment Placement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Employment Placement Specialist to join our team at Many Rivers Whole Health. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and communities.
Job SummaryThe Employment Placement Specialist will be responsible for administering a personnel placement activity, including program planning, development, maintenance, compliance, and evaluation. This role requires a strong understanding of employment placement practices, interviewing methods, and federal and state regulations affecting personnel placement activities.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and monitor PACT employment placement programs for clients
- Contact and inform prospective employers about the program
- Monitor program placement policies and procedures for compliance with federal and state guidelines
- Perform prevocational assessments of clients for jobs
- Work with supervisors to develop time studies and employment contracts
- Assign clients to job coaches for coaching and support
- Teach job-seeking skill classes
- Coordinate client vocational meetings
- Serve as liaison on program matters with vocational rehabilitation and other agencies
- Transport clients using personal vehicle, valid insurance, and driver's license
- Participate in in-service training as directed by immediate supervisor
- Assist clients with obtaining necessary clothing, resumes, and other job placement materials
- Perform medication delivery and work rotating weekday and weekend shifts
- Pass medication test and assume other mental health duties as assigned by management
- High school diploma and four years of advanced education or equivalent on-the-job experience in work-related services
- Associate degree with two years of advanced education or equivalent on-the-job experience in work-related services
- Bachelor's degree with on-the-job experience in work-related services
- Considerable knowledge of employment placement practices, interviewing methods, and federal and state regulations affecting personnel placement activities
- Ability to coordinate and monitor Supported Employment program goals, assess client needs, evaluate and provide training for clients, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with employers, other agencies, and the public
- Must have ability to train other personnel in training program techniques
- $54,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience
