Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Treatment Foster Care Worker to join our team. As a Treatment Foster Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting children and families in our treatment foster care program. You will work directly with foster children and their foster families, providing guidance, support, and therapeutic interventions to promote healing and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of foster children's needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide ongoing support and supervision to foster families, including regular home visits and meetings.
  • Collaborate with case managers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care and support for foster children and their families.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions and behavior management techniques to address emotional and behavioral challenges.
  • Advocate for the needs of foster children and ensure they receive appropriate services and support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes, case files, and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work.
  • Maryland licensure is required (LMSW or LBSW).
  • Two years' experience working with children and families in a child welfare setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
