Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team. As an LVN with Aveanna, you will have the opportunity to make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
  • Provide health education and training to family members
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required
  • Follow up with physicians, clients, family members, and staff on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition

Requirements

  • Active, unencumbered LVN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
