Job Summary

We're looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Veterinary Assistant/Technician to provide excellent care for our clients and patients. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for restraining and handling animals during examinations and treatments, administering medications, monitoring and recording animal health conditions, and ensuring the clinic is clean and organized.

Responsibilities
  • Restrain and handle animals during examinations and treatments
  • Administer medications as prescribed by veterinarians
  • Monitor and record animal health conditions, including vital signs and medical history
  • Ensure the clinic is clean, organized, and ready for daily operations
  • Assist with diagnostic procedures, such as blood draws and x-rays
  • Collect patient history reports and maintain accurate patient records
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience as a veterinary assistant/technician or in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Compassion and empathy for animals and their owners
