About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Green Street Dental Care. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our patients, promoting oral health, and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough dental hygiene procedures, including cleanings, exams, and patient education
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies through ongoing education and training

Requirements:
  • Current dental hygienist license in Indiana
  • Associate or Bachelor degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Clinical experience in a dental setting
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions periodically throughout the year
