Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Dental Hygiene Instructor to join our team at Guilford Technical Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the Dental Hygiene program, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of curriculum and assessment strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and assess student learning in the Dental Hygiene program
  • Develop and implement curriculum and assessment strategies to ensure student success
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of program policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Dental Hygiene or a related field
  • Current unrestricted license to practice as a dental hygienist in North Carolina or eligibility for licensure
  • Three years or more of clinical experience as a registered dental hygienist
  • Experience in teaching and/or industry training in dental topics
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary teaching experience
  • Experience with assessment of student learning outcomes
  • Experience with distance learning and/or alternate instructional delivery systems
