Position Overview
The Security Operations Associate is tasked with ensuring a secure and protected atmosphere for all personnel, contractors, and guests. This role plays a crucial part in the everyday functioning of the security framework at our corporate facilities. The individual in this position will engage positively with staff and offer assistance to various corporate teams, ensuring that security measures are executed consistently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee surveillance systems within corporate premises.
  • Reduce losses and damages by documenting incidents; informing policy violators, and involving law enforcement when necessary.
  • Regulate vehicle access and parking on company properties by enforcing parking regulations and managing the vehicle database.
  • Support Safety and Facilities teams in the execution of evacuation and safety drills.
  • Report significant incidents and surveillance findings to the Corporate Security Manager, ensuring all security systems are functioning effectively through regular audits.
  • Keep Corporate Security Management informed of potential threats and proactively relay critical safety information.
  • Ensure the safety of premises and personnel by inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; allowing entry and patrolling the property through physical presence and CCTV monitoring.
  • Administer door access control software.
  • Contact emergency services and law enforcement in case of urgent situations.
  • Provide secure escort services for vendors and guests as required.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written formats.

Qualifications

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Active California Guard Card - Preferred

Physical Demands
This position requires the ability to:

  • Lift and carry items weighing up to 50lbs
