Job Summary:
Morgan Properties is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager II to join our team. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical aspects of our communities meet both company standards and applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Develop and lead a team of highly qualified maintenance technicians through diagnosing problems and providing resolutions.
- Mentorship and Training: Mentor and train maintenance technicians to increase their overall knowledge base and skill-set.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to partner with office staff to provide exceptional service and follow-up to our residents on any maintenance issues that may arise.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the maintenance team is operating efficiently and effectively, with a focus on quality and safety.
- Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1-3 year(s) related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: Previous job experience in property maintenance, contractors, construction workers, hotel management maintenance, or a related field.
- Certifications: EPA Universal Certification.
- Skills: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, ability to lead and mentor a team, and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
