About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Ernest Health. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for preparing healthy meals for our patients, employees, and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals in accordance with hospital standards and patient dietary needs.
  • Ensure strict safety and sanitation standards are followed in the kitchen and cafeteria.
  • Create menus and order supplies to meet the needs of our patients and staff.
  • Integrate our hospital's mission and values into daily practice.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Food Handlers License required.
  • Knowledge of patient diets and safe food handling requirements.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
