Work Schedule: Flexible Day or Night compressed shifts available
Compensation: $21 - $23 per hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage systems that ensure the supply of gases and chemicals in a semiconductor manufacturing setting, crucial for producing components found in electronic devices such as smartphones, LEDs, and flat-screen televisions.
  • Ensure the safe operation of designated chemical and gas distribution systems, with responsibilities that include:
    • Handling and replacing gas, chemical, and slurry containers.
    • Troubleshooting and performing preventative and repair maintenance on gas and chemical equipment.
    • Utilizing computer systems to support operational functions and meet customer requirements.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Associate's degree or military experience preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of mechanical or electrical experience, or 2 years of relevant coursework or vocational training.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to work in confined spaces within a clean room environment.
  • Ability to walk extensive distances daily and occasionally climb ladders.
  • Adherence to full gowning and clean room protocols is mandatory.
  • In certain situations, technicians may need to wear a Supplied Air Respirator while handling chemicals.
  • Mechanical skills, manual dexterity, and the capacity to lift/carry items weighing up to 35 pounds are essential.
  • May involve bending, stooping, crawling, or climbing.
  • Use of Personal Protective Equipment and compliance with safety protocols when dealing with hazardous materials or conditions is required.
