X-Ray Field Service Technician

MXR Imaging, Inc. is seeking an experienced X-ray Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch maintenance, technical support, and repairs for medical imaging equipment, including x-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform corrective maintenance and troubleshooting of medical imaging equipment
- Conduct scheduled planned maintenance (PM) events and installations of medical imaging equipment at customer facilities
- Provide technical support and repairs for medical imaging equipment, including basic x-ray, digital imaging, PACS, and networking environments
- Install imaging equipment, including project management, site inspections, and interaction with customers and contractors as needed
- Complete all necessary state and FDA required paperwork associated with the installation of radiation generating equipment
- Order parts and supplies required to maintain equipment and manage service tickets
- Maintain a working knowledge and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Provide on-call service coverage after normal business hours on a rotation basis with fellow team members
- Complete all administrative duties, including service ticket closure, time sheet completion, and submission, expense reporting, FDA reporting, radiation badge compliance, and tools and test equipment care and maintenance
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Preferred: AA in Electronics
- 5+ years' experience in the medical imaging field service industry with proven knowledge and skill in diagnosing and repairing medical imaging equipment
- Training and experience on various OEMs and equipment lines, including Carestream, Quantum, Canon, Del Medical, Konica Minolta, Fuji, GE, and Summit/Amrad
- Valid, active, and compliant driver's license and solid driving record for a minimum of five years
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated individual with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Proficient in basic computer skills, windows, and networking applications
