Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Intervention: Assess initial and ongoing behavioral strengths and needs of students, utilizing school assessment protocols and timelines.
- Behavioral Support: Utilize non-violent crisis intervention techniques and physically assist as needed.
- Collaboration and Communication: Attend and participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and other meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
- Service Delivery: Provide and monitor services as stated in the student's IEP, ensuring high-quality support and care.
- Goal Development: Develop behavior goals for the IEP and Positive Behavior Support Plan, aligning with individual student needs and school dynamics.
- Plan Implementation: Revise and oversee the implementation of student behavior plans as necessary, ensuring effective data-driven decision making.
- Functional Behavioral Assessment: Conduct a Functional Behavioral Assessment for students as needed, analyzing data to inform intervention development.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Develop and implement systems for data collection, analyzing data to support interventions and inform decision making.
- Individualized Behavior Plans: Develop and implement individualized behavior plans that reflect the unique needs of each student and the school setting.
