Job Description

The Regional Estimator plays a crucial role in the Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) team, responsible for delivering core datacenter infrastructure. This position involves estimating the cost of complex datacenter projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and reporting to senior managers on estimate data and project progress.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining estimates for new Technology & Innovative Datacenter builds
  • Managing cost data, communicating with internal and external parties, and scheduling meetings
  • Working closely with engineering, construction, security, networking, and operations teams throughout each project
  • Ensuring cost information is developed and managed to meet specific project needs

This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will be able to draw conclusions from data, identify potential risks, and provide recommendations to mitigate risk and improve constructability.

The estimated salary range for this role across the U.S. is $94,600 - $183,800 per year, with different ranges applicable to specific work locations. Benefits and other compensation may be available, and relocation support will be provided for successful candidates who relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location.
