The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes. As a RN Traveler with Solutions by Sanford, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing care to patients in a variety of settings.
Responsibilities- Provide individualized nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying potential health risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to physicians or other healthcare professionals.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
