Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Aerotek. As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance tasks throughout an industrial manufacturing facility. Your extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting, motor repairs, generator repairs, and automation system repairs will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair tasks
  • Repair and maintain motors, generators, and automation systems
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure facility equipment is running efficiently
  • Work with hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
  • Perform welding and fabricating tasks as needed
  • Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in electrical troubleshooting, motor repairs, generator repairs, and automation system repairs
  • Background in hydraulic systems, electrical systems, pneumatic systems, and welding/fabricating
  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)

Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position in Prince George, Virginia. You will be working in a hot and dirty environment, dealing with aluminum. You must be comfortable with a rotating 2, 2, 3 schedule (12 hours) from 7 PM to 7 AM, rotating 3 to 5 days per week, alternating every other weekend including overtime.
