We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Lindy Property Management. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties.
Key Responsibilities- Prepares vacant rental units for occupancy by performing routine maintenance and repairs.
- Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds, including snow removal.
- Responds to employee and resident requests in a courteous and timely manner.
- Obtains and maintains personal tools required for the Maintenance Technician position.
- Keeps work area clean and tools and equipment in good working order.
- Performs duties according to Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) standards and company safety policies at all times.
- Seeks opportunities to increase skills and expand knowledge base.
- Wears the required uniform and maintains a professional appearance at all times.
- Must be available to work on an on-call basis.
- At least 2 years' maintenance experience in the property management industry.
- Live within 30 minutes of the property.
- Access to reliable transportation and a valid PA driver's license is a necessity.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Familiarity with common tools and proficiency in unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and light carpentry work.
- Basic computer skills.
