Job Summary:

As a Floor Technician, you'll be responsible for providing cleaning, disinfecting, floor care restoration, carpet care, moving, and other detail project services utilizing specialized housekeeping chemicals, equipment, and supplies as directed by your supervisor.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years related experience preferred.
  • Detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of floor scrubbing, stripping, and refinishing.
  • Knowledge of carpet extraction, bonneting, stain removal, and regular Environmental Services cleaning procedures.
  • Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to follow cleaning chemical instructions, proper dilutions, and usage.
  • Requires bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations.
  • Ability to multi-task and establish priorities and routines.
  • Exhibits initiative, responsibility, and flexibility.
