Job Summary

At Clean Harbors, we are committed to excellence and safety. We are seeking a Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building business within our territories and developing strong customer relationships. You will work closely with our route drivers to provide product insight to our customers and identify new sales opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline to achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals.
  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships to increase sales and revenue.
  • Work with route drivers to convert new sales opportunities and grow current customer base with new lines of business.
  • Prepare and deliver customer quotes, and prospect and convert leads into customers.

Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and reliable form of transportation required.
  • Tenacious, assertive, strong organizational skills, and a hunter mentality.
  • Proven ability to develop a book of business.
  • Working knowledge and current use of CRM software a plus.
  • Business to business sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Time and territory management skills to ensure focus on value-added sales activities.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to facilitate a service team approach to ensure customer satisfaction and follow-through.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive decision-making.
  • Ability to travel within the region.
