Position Summary:

The Senior Client Relations Consultant requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in retail banking. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service both internally and externally by fostering personal connections, cultivating relationships, and ensuring a positive experience for each client. Responsibilities include assisting clients in identifying their financial needs and managing daily transactions while ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to quality standards in compliance with all relevant regulations. Additionally, this position may involve select supervisory responsibilities as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by building rapport and nurturing relationships.
  • Identify and capitalize on sales and business relationship opportunities.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by engaging with clients to welcome them, personalizing their experience, and determining the best service approach.
  • Embody the Bank's mission, core values, and cultural principles by taking initiative and setting a positive example for peers.
  • Promote the bank's products and services effectively.
  • Support team members to ensure the bank is represented positively and contribute innovative ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Process financial transactions, maintain sound cash handling practices, and address inquiries or resolve issues related to customer accounts.
  • Assist Relationship Managers/Officers in driving deposit growth and acquisition.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Capability to educate clients on the features and benefits of products and services to meet their individual needs.
  • Excellent judgment and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve branch-wide objectives.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Basic mathematical skills and the ability to manage cash within established limits to minimize risk.
  • Able to assist customers over the phone with professionalism.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Two to three years of experience in retail banking.
  • Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
