Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a top-ranked hospital in Washington, DC.

Job Summary:

This is a travel Respiratory Therapist position that requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Trauma, ER, and Adult ICU, and will be able to float between floors and handle equivalent or lower acuity units.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting, including ventilator management and oxygen therapy.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Float between floors and handle equivalent or lower acuity units as needed.
  • Participate in call rotations and be available to work holidays as needed.
  • May come into contact with COVID-19 patients.
Requirements:
  • Current RRT certification.
  • Valid state license.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
  • Experience working in Trauma, ER, and Adult ICU.
  • Ability to float between floors and handle equivalent or lower acuity units.
  • Ability to participate in call rotations and work holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Purtian Bennett, Draeger, Servo I, Evita XL, and Viasys equipment.
  • ACLS certification.
