Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our Behavioral Health team at Saline Memorial. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a compassionate demeanor, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in planning and implementing daily activities for patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Report relevant patient information to the Registered Nurse for evaluation, intervention, and documentation.
  • Monitor patients during use of potentially hazardous equipment, maintaining a safe and secure environment.
  • Assist in the admission process, including inspecting and caring for patients' clothing and property, orienting patients to the unit and program.
  • Respond to signal lights, bells, or intercom systems to determine patients' needs.
Requirements
  • Certified as a C.N.A. or currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program with at least one semester of hands-on clinicals completed.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current BLS CPR certification.
  • C.N.A. certification through the Arkansas Office of Long Term Care.
