Ambulatory Nurse Manager

Job Summary
The Ambulatory Nurse Manager at Beaufort Memorial is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting. This role requires a skilled nurse to manage the direct care of patients, including those under their direction such as LPNs or medical assistants.
Key Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility and accountability for the delivery of patient care, including care provided by those under their direction.
- Utilize nursing skills to evaluate, treat, and report to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Perform initial clinical assessments and assist physicians/practitioners with treatments or procedures.
- Provide patient instruction/education related to diagnosis, tests, and medications.
- Maintain and proficiency test clinical equipment.
- Educate patients, families, and staff on patient care issues.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a South Carolina Nursing License. BSN preferred.
- Experience as an RN in an ambulatory or physician practice is preferred.
- Three years experience as an RN in a healthcare setting is required.
- Current South Carolina RN license.
- BLS certification required prior to first clinical shift (must be issued by the American Heart Association).
