Del Sol Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation team. As a Registered Nurse Inpatient Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our rehabilitation program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare delivery team, including physicians, to deliver quality healthcare.
- Assess patient functional level of independence throughout the rehabilitation program using the FIM instrument.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Current RN licensure in Texas or compact state.
- Current BCLS certification.
- Minimum Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN.
- Preferred: Attainment of CRRN or within two years working on the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit, the nurse will take and pass the Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse examination.
- Reads and writes Basic English with the basic skills necessary to transfer physician's orders.
- Knowledge of body substance isolation.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish.
