The Lead Architectural Strategist plays a pivotal role in collaborating with various stakeholders and steering the architectural team throughout the design and construction phases. This position serves three primary clients: the Client, Discipline Design Leads, and the Exyte Management team. Daily interactions will primarily involve internal stakeholders, including but not limited to: Project Management Team, Architects, Design Leads, QA/QC Manager, and the Architectural Discipline Lead.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and develop Architectural Designers in all processes, procedures, and standards
  • Coordinate, guide, and supervise the team to achieve optimal technical solutions for complex design and client challenges
  • Evaluate architectural drawings for thoroughness, constructability, and coordination
  • Collaborate with design and technical teams while supporting or leading the creation of design deliverables from studies to Construction Documents, including drawings and specifications
  • Maintain primary accountability for all architectural designs, sharing design responsibilities
  • Guide Interns and junior members of project teams
  • Contribute to the development of office standards and procedures
  • Exhibit leadership qualities
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain a positive attitude and enjoy the work in a challenging environment
  • Possess knowledge and productivity in the Autodesk Building System Software work environment
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and be a proactive problem solver
  • Understand Standard Installation Details, client BIM standards, and industry drafting and design standards
  • Show demonstrable proficiency with Autodesk Building Systems Software
  • Adept at engaging with and aligning multiple stakeholders with diplomacy
  • Ability to manage a team of 5 or more staff
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture required
  • Master's in Architecture preferred
  • Architectural License (AIA) required
  • LEED AP with Specialty or GA (Green Associate) preferred
  • National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) Certificate preferred
  • 14+ years of professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience with semiconductor and microelectronics facilities
  • Experience executing projects utilizing Autodesk Building System Software
  • Experience with Design-Build is a plus
  • Experience managing teams utilizing Autodesk Building Systems Software
  • Experience in global teams and/or multi-office project execution is desirable
