Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Professional Nurse to join our Newborn Admission team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working independently to plan and deliver nursing services in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
Responsibilities- Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients, adhering to the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and best practices, participating in ongoing education and training.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
- Minimum of two years of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training.
- Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
- Additional education, competencies, and/or certification may be required for specific clinical units.
- BSN degree
- National Certification in Clinical Specialty
