Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Professional Nurse to join our Newborn Admission team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working independently to plan and deliver nursing services in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients, adhering to the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and best practices, participating in ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
  • Minimum of two years of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training.
  • Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
  • Additional education, competencies, and/or certification may be required for specific clinical units.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree
  • National Certification in Clinical Specialty
