About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Strawberry Harvest Specialist. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality strawberries are harvested and prepared for distribution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the strawberry plant life cycle, ensuring timely completion of harvesting and cleaning/sanitizing tasks.
  • Operate and troubleshoot new farming technologies to optimize crop yields and quality.
  • Collaborate with packaging and distribution teams to ensure seamless sorting, cleaning, weighing, packaging, and labeling of strawberries.
  • Collect and analyze data to inform process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices in vertical farming.
  • Escalate concerns to leadership to ensure the health and safety of our plants and team members.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent punctuality and attendance record.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail and recognize imperfections in products/produce.
  • Prior experience in a commercial kitchen or commercial packaging operation is a plus.
  • No prior growing experience necessary; on-the-job training will be provided.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to climb a ladder.
  • Ability to crouch or kneel.
  • Ability to reach and stretch.
  • Hand dexterity.
  • Comfortable in an active, non-sedentary role for extended periods.
  • MUST NOT be allergic to bees.
Work Schedule

Thursday - Saturday, 10 am - 7 pm.
