Position Summary:
The Manager of Special Education Programs is accountable for the execution of district policies and procedures in alignment with IDEA indicators from the Department of Special Education and Student Services. This role will collaborate with school personnel in the identification and development of centralized programming, which includes adaptive curriculum, placements into centralized programs, assistive technology, and alternative assessments (OAAP).

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Master's degree (preferred)

Experience:

  • Three (3) years of successful experience working with students in special education
  • Successful administrative experience (preferred)

Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc:

  • Possesses or has the ability to obtain an Oklahoma teaching certificate with special education certification


  • Oklahoma administrator certificate preferred
