We are seeking a talented and service-oriented Junior Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team at CityScape Metro Group. As a key member of our mortgage lending team, you will be responsible for assisting applicants with loan applications, assessing their financial situation and eligibility, and collaborating with our mortgage lender and underwriter to ensure successful loan transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect financial information to prepare loan files and assist applicants with loan applications.
  • Monitor sales pipeline, meet sales expectations, and generate new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with mortgage lenders, underwriters, and realtors to facilitate loan transactions.
  • Create personal relationships with loan applicants and provide information on home mortgage products.
  • Work with senior mortgage loan officers to recommend suitable home loan products based on applicants' financial status.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in credit unions, lending institutions, real estate, or financial services is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree desired.
  • Excellent sales, relationship-building, communication, and MS Office skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with loan program guidelines and various types of loans, such as FHA, commercial loans, and VA loans, is an asset.
  • Commitment to completing a training program to obtain NMLS/MLO/state license is required.
