Job Overview

Position Summary:
Macke Motors Inc. is on the lookout for a proficient and dedicated Automotive Body Repair Specialist. This full-time role operates on a commission-only basis within the dynamic automotive sector.

The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in auto body restoration and will be tasked with assessing and rectifying vehicle damages to return them to their original condition.

This role is vital in upholding customer satisfaction and ensuring our commitment to exceptional quality standards.


Compensation & Benefits:

The annual compensation for this position ranges from $45,000 to $90,000, with biweekly payments based on commission structure.

Additionally, we provide a robust benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, holiday pay, and a gas allowance.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose vehicle damage, including body, frame, and paint issues.
  • Repair or replace damaged components such as fenders, doors, panels, and windows.
  • Employ appropriate tools and methods to straighten and align vehicle frames.
  • Execute body filler, sanding, and priming tasks to prepare vehicles for painting.
  • Mix and match paint to ensure an accurate color match to the original vehicle.
  • Apply paint using correct techniques and application methods.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on all repairs to ensure quality and completeness.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely and efficient repair completion.
  • Stay updated with advancements and techniques in the industry.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and utilize personal protective equipment as required.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in auto body repair or painting.
  • Ability to read and interpret repair estimates and instructions.
  • Must have personal tools and knowledge of their proper usage.
  • Strong understanding of body and paint techniques.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
