YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Manager within the Boston Consulting Group's Global Practice Area, you will take ownership of the management and coordination of the regional practice agenda, business strategy, and workforce planning, ensuring seamless execution of all practice activities across the region.

Collaborating closely with practice leadership and senior stakeholders, you will oversee daily operations and processes. This includes strategic planning, commercialization efforts, contributing to marketing and communications, organizing meetings, budgeting, and reporting, as well as addressing talent development and diversity initiatives.


In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to Practice Area Leadership, participating in agenda formulation, planning, and execution, while facilitating the implementation of the practice action plan to enhance regional development.

You will support business growth and contribute to marketing strategies, representing the practice and aligning efforts across regions and various industry and functional practices.

You will also be responsible for organizing regional practice meetings and assisting with global and regional practice projects, alongside conducting regular financial analyses and reporting.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Leading and structuring intricate strategic and operational projects with multiple concurrent work streams, requiring independent judgment for prioritization and decision-making.
  • Converting high-level strategic concepts into actionable plans, leveraging your strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Guiding project teams by collaborating with both contributors and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Demonstrating confidence and autonomy in driving results while maintaining flexibility in problem-solving.
  • Aligning diverse senior stakeholder interests and navigating complex situations with professionalism and diplomacy.
  • Fostering innovation through creative and pragmatic thinking.
  • Quickly building relationships and collaborating effectively across various cultural and functional backgrounds.
  • Influencing stakeholders at all levels to garner support for project outcomes.
  • Communicating assertively and effectively.
  • Understanding value creation for practices and their stakeholders.
  • Exhibiting strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Proficient in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
YOUR EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 8-10+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP or PRINCE2) are advantageous.
  • Consulting experience at the Project Leader level is preferred.

Exceptional communication skills:
Ability to craft clear, well-structured communications and effectively lead discussions.

  • Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for managing large datasets and building models.
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience in international work environments.
  • Proven ability to navigate a matrix organization successfully.
  • Genuine interest in the business of BCG Practices.
COLLABORATION
Our business management and operations team is dedicated to ensuring that BCG operates efficiently and effectively.
