About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at PetMedic Urgent Care Vet Clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional care to pet patients and their owners
  • Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with hospital policy
  • Perform physical assessments and record observations
  • Keep furry friends calm and still during procedures
  • Explain necessary follow-up and home care instructions
  • Assist veterinarians in procedures, including blood draws, surgery, and anesthesia
  • Comfortable taking radiographs, small animal restraint, triage, and monitoring anesthesia
  • Obtain laboratory sample collection, process, and interpret results
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to commit to evening shifts and one weekend day
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
  • Diagnostics, including radiographs, ECG, blood pressure, and venipuncture
  • Placing IV catheters
