About the Role

Hart to Heart Ambulance Service Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead our team of automotive technicians and staff. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a positive culture among your team, while ensuring that our fleet vehicles are properly maintained and compliant with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the development and implementation of service operational procedures, policies, programs, systems, and training.
  • Direct all aspects of incoming service and preventative maintenance tickets, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
  • Proactively manage preventative maintenance schedules, repair, and safety bulletin process to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit, hire, train, manage, and develop service technicians to ensure a highly skilled workforce.
  • Handle escalated concerns and provide coaching and guidance to technicians as needed.
  • Manage parts inventory and lead the team to work together to achieve daily goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with Human Resource to support personnel concerns and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in the automotive service industry, including at least 3 years managing a large-scale fleet operation or dealership.
  • Strong operational management skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and team development.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Effective team builder and selector/developer of talent.
