Job Summary

The Madison Approach is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team as a Financial Operations Manager. This is a full-time, on-site position that requires a strong background in accounting and financial management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all financial operations for overseas regions and units, ensuring compliance with internal practices and policies.
  • Review and analyze financial statements to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with overseas superiors and subordinates on all financial matters, providing timely and accurate financial reports.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, remittances, and related analysis for management.
  • Supervise one junior accounting staff member, providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate, supervise, review, and report on the annual budget, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Research, document, and report on special projects as directed by Leadership.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
  • 3-4 years of solid accounting experience, preferably in a not-for-profit organization.
  • Experience with international locations, including an understanding of foreign currency.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency in MS Office and QuickBooks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
Compensation

$67,000 per year, full-time, on-site position, Monday - Friday, 8:30-5:00.
