We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a Lead Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including precepting and mentoring new employees
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct regular rounds to assess patient care and identify areas for improvement
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and community partners to promote seamless care transitions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research and evidence-based practices to ensure the delivery of best-in-class care
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas or compact state
- One year of experience in emergency nursing or leadership role
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
