COMPENSATION :

In accordance with Colorado regulations, if this position is executed in Colorado, the salary range is $58,000 - $62,000 with additional bonus opportunities.

SUMMARY
This role is part of the Corporate Accounting Team.

The Corporate Accountant is chiefly accountable for financial record-keeping, receivables, and payables for the corporate-level entities of the company, which include, but are not limited to, property management, investment management, construction management, and marketing divisions.

The Corporate Accountant reports directly to the Corporate Accounting Manager and collaborates closely with corporate-level personnel to ensure prompt recoveries and precise reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to)
Maintain the general ledger, input journal entries, review accounts receivable and deliver invoices, process accounts payable, conduct bank reconciliations, and manage contracts.
Assist in reviewing and tracking all balances in recovery accounts. Ensure the reconciliation of corporate entity receivable ledgers with billed entities payable ledgers.

Collaborate with the Corporate Accounting Team on recurring tasks, such as credit card expense reports, auditing, and providing supporting documentation for corporate team entries.

Assist with projects as required, such as year-end compliance, process implementation, and software transitions.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
2-3 years of experience in general ledger accounting; experience in property management and real estate is preferred.

Proficiency in standard technical accounting skills and concepts, including but not limited to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger analysis, accrual basis, cash basis, operating expenditures, and capital expenditures.

A solid understanding of basic accounting information system functionality.
A strong command of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
Ability to read, analyze, articulate, and compile financial reports for business correspondence.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to assist with additional tasks as needed.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Strong time management abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Willingness to embrace change and new ideas.
