Typical Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain ABB robotics, GreyOrange butlers, conveyors, and wrappers on-site.
  • Execute basic functional testing procedures for equipment.
  • Perform timely preventive maintenance with proper documentation.
  • Identify issues by observing and monitoring the automation field; diagnose and repair as needed.
  • Maintain records of preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and parts usage.
Qualifications for Success at GXO:

At a minimum, candidates should possess:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to interpret basic electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics.
It would be advantageous if you also have:
  • An associate or bachelor's degree.
  • A year of experience as a maintenance technician.
  • An active Journeyman license.
This role requires the ability to:
  • Safely walk and stand for extended periods on various surfaces, which may be uneven or slippery.
  • Reach (including overhead), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel.
  • Access all areas of the equipment to perform necessary maintenance, including inspecting and working in, on, and under parts of the machinery.
