The Consumer Banker I will engage with current clients and seek new opportunities to enhance client relationships through direct business bookings and appropriate referrals to internal partners, including Mortgage, Wealth Management, Small Business Banking, and Treasury Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate account openings and maintenance tasks.
  • Manage a Teller drawer as required by management.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide clients with expert service and solutions.
  • Ensure timely follow-up calls with clients.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements.
  • Work with District Specialists to implement retail strategies aimed at attracting and retaining core client relationships.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships through the First Client Conversation Model.
  • Participate actively in team meetings to support sales and service initiatives.
  • Meet or exceed sales, service, and referral targets set by management through effective teamwork.
  • Provide digital support to clients utilizing the bank's online services.
  • Stay updated on all bank products and procedures, particularly complex offerings.
Essential Qualifications:
  • 3-4 years of client service experience in a retail banking environment.
  • 3-4 years of sales and service experience with a proven track record in achieving goals.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Ability to obtain notary authorization.
  • Strong knowledge of banking products and solid sales skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in sales.
Complexity and Scope:
  • Ability to address a diverse range of client needs in accordance with bank policies.
  • Capability to lead teams as necessary.
Decision-Making Independence:
  • Work with minimal supervision while following established guidelines.
  • Apply guidelines proficiently and collaborate with senior roles for advice.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Support management needs for the Financial Center.
Physical Requirements:
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 10 lbs.
  • Engage in sitting, standing, walking, and driving as needed.
